My sister came down over the weekend and when she left I was got so depressed I had to pop a vicadin just to get to sleep. Side note: I thought one vicadin would be enough, and frankly people, that’s all I could scrounge up in this household, what with all the oral surgery and dental work going on around here, but it really didn’t do much for me and I was wishing I had another just to, you know, numb me to the pain of the world. Oh woe is me… I realized I guess that we just don’t spend a lot of time together and when we do get together I just want to GIVE HER everything I can, including meals and clothes and music and earrings and necklaces I don’t wear anymore and jeez… Oh, I won’t rehash all the details since I wrote of this very issue last year about this time when she was getting ready to get married.
B got his braces off today and he looks fabulous. He truly is, physically anyway, not the man I met 10 years ago. He’s all skinny and shit and likes to use hair products. He’s cute. I love him.
Oh, I’m reading Black Hole by Charles Burns. It’s really awesome. Anyone else concur?
